Christie Cook

Mezzo Soprano

New Zealand born mezzo soprano, Christie Cook, is an opera singer based in London, and works as a freelance soloist across the UK and Europe. 

An active recitalist and oratorio singer, Christie has performed in local venues like St Martin’s in the Field, and The London Music Club, plus international festivals in Italy, as well as working with opera companies such as Grange Park Opera, and Longborough Festival Opera. Christie sings regularly with The Monteverdi Choir under the baton of Sir John Eliot Gardiner, and has performed with them on stages across the world including Carnegie Hall, The Berlin Philharmonie, The Royal Albert Hall, The Musikverein, Chicago’s Harris Theatre, Tonhalle Zurich, Basilica Saint-Denis Paris.

In between singing engagements, Christie is a sought after voice teacher, and active participant in music education. She recently became an examiner for the ABRSM.
